One of our most enjoyable accounts to date, we developed everything for Liverpool’s new addition to Bold Street, Crust.
Selecting “Crust” as the perfect personification of the brands concept, following with the font selection, colour and the overall look and feel of Crust’s identity including tagline “Pizza . Pasta . Beer” and “In Pizza We Trust”, we stretched this identity onto all design and marketing outlets.
When designing and developing any brand and website, photography is a crucial part of maximising the brands identity. For us, photography and art direction come hand-in-hand. Creating moodboards and liaising with select and specialist photographers, we ensured the photography was in-line with Crusts brand identity that we developed. Used on the restaurants website and throughout their social media, the quirky photography of Crust has become a unique selling point of the brand.
Branding didn’t end with the restaurants logo and collateral, it scoped further to Crust’s external and internal signage. Creating the concepts of both external signages, to recommending the lighting methods used to truly grab the attention of passers by, we liaised directly with the signage installers to ensure the restaurants goals were met.
The website itself and prior holding page were both designed and developed with the quirky aesthetic the restaurant holds to form a no-frills, straight-to-the point site. The outcome was a simple and clear, one-page website that was easily editable and up-datable by the client.
